How Pavillon Works with Insurance

• We verify all insurance benefits before admission.
• We pre-certify insurance coverage early in treatment to ensure a smooth financial experience.
• We submit claims on behalf of our patients during and after treatment.
• We actively follow up on outstanding claims to ensure they are processed efficiently.

To further support our patients, Pavillon engages an off-site agency that stays up to date with the ever-changing world of health insurance. This agency helps facilitate the best possible insurance reimbursement for those using insurance to help cover treatment costs. Each patient receives an individualized financial agreement upon admission.

Important Insurance Considerations

• Pavillon does NOT participate in Medicare, Medicaid, or Tricare and does not file claims for these programs.
• Insurance reimbursement is accepted as the down payment on treatment costs for individuals using their insurance benefits.
• Both in-network and out-of-network benefits are handled similarly, including verification, obtaining authorizations, and submitting claims for services provided.

In compliance with federal regulations, Cigna provides access to machine-readable files that detail negotiated service rates and out-of-network allowed amounts between health plans and healthcare providers.
