Quality & Outcomes
How Our Programs Stand Out
Choosing to seek addiction treatment is a courageous decision, but it can also be an overwhelming one. With numerous options available, determining the best type of care for you or your loved one can be a complex process. At Pavillon, we believe in empowering individuals and families with clear guidance to help them make informed decisions toward recovery.
This page serves as your resource for a deeper understanding of the types of addiction treatment available, the benefits each level of care offers, who it’s best suited for, and how Pavillon’s programs stand out in terms of quality and outcomes.
Levels of Care in Addiction Treatment
Medical Detoxification
Recovery begins the moment you realize something needs to change. If you’re here, you’re already on that path. The second step is reaching out—and we’re here to listen.
When you contact our Admissions team, we take the time to understand your unique circumstances and goals. Together, we’ll explore the best treatment options. For many, medically supervised detox is one of the first essential steps in that process.
Our detox program provides a safe, medically supported environment to help you manage withdrawal symptoms with dignity and care. Physical stabilization is only one component of detoxing the body. It’s also the beginning of a relationship built on trust, compassion, and personalized support. And because detoxification is part of our residential programs, you’ll experience a smooth and seamless transition into the therapeutic phase.
Residential (Inpatient) Treatment
Residential care offers an immersive environment that fosters healing, free from external triggers and distractions. It is best suited for individuals with moderate to severe substance use disorders or those with co-occurring mental health conditions. Our Primary Residential Treatment Programs offer gender-specific care, licensed professional support, integrated therapy, family programming, and a serene campus setting that fosters deep recovery.
Extended Care
Pavillon’s Extended Care Programs are sometimes referred to as a bridge between inpatient and outpatient care, acting as a deeper step in the work of improvement and rehabilitation. By the time you reach this stage, you’ve already begun the hard work of healing. Now, you’re ready to explore the root causes of addiction, build resilience, and prepare for a life beyond treatment with greater confidence and clarity.
Extended Care requires courage, openness, and honesty. That’s why this level of care is available only after completing a primary residential program.
You’ll work with a multidisciplinary team through a carefully structured program that includes advanced individual and group therapy, psychodrama, and equine-assisted therapy. Through these experiences, you’ll develop powerful insight, strengthen your coping tools, and gain meaningful peer support.
This program also includes Extended Therapeutic Leave (ETL), an opportunity to temporarily return home, apply what you’ve learned, and come back to Pavillon to process those real-life experiences. However, if challenges arise in the future, Relapse Prevention Week/Treatment (RPW/T) is a way to receive targeted support and reinforcement of your recovery tools.
Outpatient Treatment allows individuals to receive treatment while continuing to live at home. This level of care is often most effective for those with mild to moderate addiction or as a step-down after more intensive treatment. While Pavillon does not currently offer outpatient services, we partner with reputable providers to ensure continuity of care and support.
Individual Therapy and Counseling are cornerstones of addiction treatment. Whether part of residential or outpatient care, personal counseling helps clients work through the emotional, psychological, and behavioral aspects of substance use. Licensed clinicians guide clients through personalized therapeutic plans rooted in evidence-based approaches like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), EMDR, and motivational interviewing.
Alumni and Continuing Care
Many individuals benefit from continued connection and support after completing treatment. Pavillon’s robust Alumni Program provides structured follow-up, offers events, connection points, peer community fellowship, and ongoing guidance to help our graduates stay grounded in their recovery journeys long after they leave our campus. We’re here for you, for life.
